A SWAT team is an elite tactical unit. Hailing from Devon and Somerset they are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular skaters.
SWAT (South West Angels of Terror) team members’ duties include: performing Gazelle hostage rescues and counter-blocking operations; serving high risk jammer take downs & wolving tactics, subduing ‘walled up’ suspects; and engaging heavily-padded opponents.
SWAT teams are often equipped with skills including speed, agility, tactical knowledge and in many cases a nice big booty! They have specialized equipment including heavy body armour (helmets, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards), gum shields, the ever important skate tool and motion detectors for covertly determining the positions of hostages or hostage takers inside enemy track lines.
SWAT are watching you! Be very afraid!
